His “joie de vivre” inspired many children when he committed to being his dad’s assistant teacher through his teens. Cory has continued to heavenly influence us since his passing in 2012.

was born in China in 1995. She joined karate kids classes with her brother and sister and brought a joy of movement and being to the groups. Jian occasionally helped out with classes through her teens while focusing on dance and cheerleading. Ms. Whidden developed this webpage with her dad. Her son, Tristan, participates in the karate kids classes with his auntie Joc and Tai baba (Granddad) as teachers.

has been Master Roger’s teacher since 1989.
